Yuko was diagnosed with Stage IV breast cancer in 2005, the cancer had already metastasized to her bones and lungs. Since that time she has undergone radiation, chemotherapy and hormone therapy treatment. Her current pain situation is a result of spinal compression caused by a tumor in the bone.
